The Holy Mountain (Also Known As: La montaña sagrada ) is a Drama Fantasy film directed and written by Alejandro Jodorowsky (as Alexandro Jodorowsky) . It released on 21 August 1974 (West Germany) . The film stars Alejandro Jodorowsky, Horacio Salinas, Zamira Saunders. In a corrupt, greed-fueled world, a powerful alchemist leads a Christ-like character and seven materialistic figures to the Holy Mountain, where they hope to achieve enlightenment.
