Season 3 opens with Clark Kent having become a criminal, heisting banks, going to night-clubs, and living under the alias 'Kal'; Lex returning to Smalville and the Lex mansion, and inviting Dr. Helen Bryce for a second honeymoon while trying to find out if it was her or his father who attempted to kill him.
