The Kwan Dao organization from Hong Kong steals valuable terracotta statues in Los Angeles, which leads Detective Lee of Hong Kong to team up with the cocky black cop James Carter to team up together to search for the statue. This case also starts the partnership between the two Detective which last longer than they expect.
